Adobe is doing the damn thing. The sneak peek session i attended today really wowed me.
On the whole the feeling of me being an amoeba in ocean of web design has been reinforced. There’s a lot to learn and there are a lot of really amazing collaborative efforts between all of the Adobe products. Flash in Acrobat 3d. The Soundbooth demo was pretty cool. like using photoshop for sound. marquee selecting parts of the wave and volume in a color spectrum like you would in photoshop, for copying/pasting/deleting. It looks like what they do on shows like CSI but you know are fake. I was like whoa after hearing the results.
Flex and Apollo are the new hotness and I reaaaally need to get with at least Flex and Coldfusion. And a demo i saw today let me see I’ve been sleeping on Fireworks as well…do i have that? yes. i do.
There were a couple sessions where they polled us and asked us to vote by text message and on the screen you saw the results being updated. Flex and Coldfusion i believe. I talked to the guy who created it…there’s some text msging stuff I would like to do at work. I need to step up my Actionscript game as well.
