this morning i awoke up to the sound of a clap. it was a single loud clear clap, the sound of two palms coming together quickly. and it woke j up too. it sounded like it originated in the room within 10 feet. our doors were closed. i looked at the time…it was 6 twenty something.
i asked j if she heard it. and she did. I got up and looked around to see if anything had fallen that would make a noise, but nothing I could think of sounds remotely like a clap.
