I haven’t checked the credits but it seems like there are as many writers as there are episodes, each given the directive to come up with what they wish, but keep the thread of the underlying story running through in each episode.
Couldn’t they just have sent Jack on vacation for 30 days if they wanted to ease his mind? That was pointless. What if he liked his new life and didn’t want to go back? booo.
He may not have 30 days before the chaos begins. If his son is blamed for Collier’s death, or if his son’s condition (blackouts, etc.) gets worse, then it’s going to get rough in a hurry for him.
Plus, what IF he had decided not to come back? I took that as part of the point. It was something of a test. Would he value a comfortable life for himself more than than finding out about the 4400 and the future of the planet? If so, then he might not be the right guy.
Very interesting. I liked it okay.
Hey Stephen 🙂 are you going to the festival next week in Winston?
