saw a link to this new show about race swapping on the FX network on D-listed. Not something I’m dying to see. noting racial differences as entertainment. But I will agree the transformations are a large step up from C. Thomas Howell’s Soul Man. and I like the mouseovers. reminds me of the old SNL Eddie Murphy skit where he was white for a day and everything went his way. Where was Michael Jackson when they were casting this?
I saw a bit of this on Oprah…it was painful (for many, many reasons).
Eddie did it much better. (BTW – when guy got the star service at the golf club…all I could think of was Eddie’s skit.)
I wouldn’t mind checking it…apparently Ice Cube has a hand in this. The “cast” was on Oprah today. Naturally the white adults and black adults got totally different perspectives. Will the race issue ever be solved? Probably not but fun to explore in the meantime.
