Robots are no longer confined to the realms of science fiction or industrial settings. They are increasingly becoming a part of our everyday lives, especially in urban areas. From delivering packages to patrolling the streets, robots are interacting with humans in various ways. But what are the implications of this coexistence? How do humans perceive and respond to robots in the city? And how do robots affect the social and physical environment of the city?
I have visualized a possible near future of robots in urban areas alongside people. This blog post is inspired by the recent announcement of Tesla’s humanoid robot, Optimus, which promises to take on dangerous, repetitive and boring tasks for humans.
