The media for the last couple of weeks have been reporting the alarming and mysterious disappearance of swarms of bees around the country and in other locations as well.
Alarming because 90% of what we eat is tied into bee pollination. Fruits and vegetables are affected directly, along with grains that feed the animals that we consume. that spells increase cost for bees and more than likely more expensive food
Mysterious because they just are missing, no buildup of dead bees, they’re just *poof* gone.
Theories from mites, to pesticides, to cell phone towers that may weaken their navigation and communication capabilities have been cited, but it still remains a mystery.
I thought it was because of the D.C. madam brouhaha.
