Movies/TV shows where someone gets a do-over to save someone important to them. Two was questionable. at three they need to let it go.
Déjà Vu – starring Denzel Washington (costarring Jim Caviezel, who starred in a reminiscient Frequency) who goes back to save a chick he fell in love with.
Daybreak – ABC’s version of Groundhog Day meets 24 starring Taye Diggs. He’s a cop, his girlfriend gets killed, he’s trapped in the same day trying different ways to prevent the outcome
Premonition – starring Sandra Bullock. her husband dies in a car wreck, but she wakes up next to him, then she wakes up and he dead, oh no he’s not, oh yes he is? can she stop it? or is she crazy?
I just had this EXACT same thought about De’Ja Vu and Daybreak just this morning when I saw their commercials on television. I guess its like the year we had the two movies about the world coming to an end by meteor…Armageddon and …gosh, I can’t think of the other one…Morgan Freeman was the president…
Deep Impact. Similar to these two Truman Capote movies released in a short amount of time from each other.
