Between Tavis Smiley and Wikipedia I know that: Levar Burton (Levardis Robert Martyn Burton Jr.) just turned 50, and had literally been hosting Reading Rainbow 1/2 his life and owned 1/3 of the show. He recently stopped recording episodes, deciding to leave over differences with the show’s new owners.
