i’m sure someone has posted about what I’m observing in reference to the reporting of the cargo shipment trailers washing ashore in England after a shipwreck. When I first noticed it I was feeling like I was too tired to point out the obvious, plus there was a larger ecological tragedy in play. but S called to point it out to me as well, and his ire has ignited mine, so it’s going to be blogged.
Everything I read about it and the people who were going through the contents of the trailers, including items up to trucks and motorcycles described the people taking the goods as “scavengers” and “salvagers”. Now come on, guys…you know if those people were of high melanin content, they’d be called a word that starts with an L and rhymes with HOOTERS.
