The Chronicles of Narnia – CG (computer graphics) gets better and better. A good flick. I heard there were Christian overtones, and I was wondering where you’d fit that kind of stuff into a fantasy tale. But there’s a portion of the film the parallels are quite apparent. see it.
Good Night and Good Luck – The second serious Clooney flick I saw this month. I like how they used Diane Reeves’ interludes to frame the different chapters. At once feeling very timely (media’s role to inform) and dated (the taboo of marriage in the workplace, and the normalcy of chainsmoking in said place). see it.
King Kong – Great CG (computer graphics) on the hyper-realistic-yet-seemingly-anatomically-incorrect ape. But it was all about the Watts woman. So many people died to rescue the pure Watts woman. How’d they get him on the boat? And what was the deal w/ Hayes and Jimmy? see it, after you use the restroom and stock up on snacks
Dick Clark’s Rockin New Year’s Eve – It was good to see that he’s doing ok, but I think he needs to go ahead and retire from Television. He’s had a great career.
i was thinking of reading the Narnia books again. the jury’s still out on that though. i should probably just bend and check out the movie.
King Kong was good for me, even for a guy with ADD.
I’m absolutely skurred to see Dick Clark again. it’s time for him to retire, you’re right.
