2005 is almost down for the count. This was a heck of a year. I started to reflect on it when I was taking down the Christmas Tree. On a global (Pakistan and the Gulf Coast States) and personal scale a year of change, relocation, upheaval, new cities and residences.
Then I started thinking about things I’m going to do better next year, like be a better friend. a better son. Last year I promised I’d cook more. I did. I never got around to finishing The Purpose Driven Life though.
I’m thankful for making it through another year and look forward to the promise of great things to come in 2006.
This entry is dedicated to Mr. Haywood Faison, who passed away suddenly on Christmas Day. Our thoughts are with you and your family.
I’m starting the purpose driven life on Jan. 1. I’m not good with self-help type books…only made it about 15 pages the last time I tried to read it. We’ll see how this one goes.
Happy new year!
Eh, lookin’ good brah! I found you at last. Hope all is well with you.
