Now that actor Fred Thompson has thrown his hat into the ring, here’s my list of other actors who were presidents who might get my vote if they ran, based purely on my love of pop culture.

Martin Sheen (The West Wing): he just looks presidential as hell.

Morgan Freeman (Deep Impact): no brainer, there. He’s cooler than even Clinton.

Harrison Ford (Air Force One): Han Solo as the commander in chief? Yes, please.

Dennis Haysbert (24): “That’s America’s Stand”

Tiny Lister Jr. (The Fifth Element) : technically he was the President of Earth, but I just would love to hear him say, “What you got on my 40, China?”
