ramble ahead

I was reading something about comic books’ response to September 11th. imagine incorporating that into a storyline in a world where they save the planet every other week. I didn’t read them stories so I don’t know how it was handled. It was cool though to see the picture of the heroes getting autographs from the firemen.

Then I started thinking of how being a real life superhero would translate. You couldn’t have a secret identity. not with the paparazzi, satellite images, the CIA, DNA tests. You’d probably get some corporate sponsorship to make ends meet, and a good attorney and insurance, because someone will be trying to sue you when their arm breaks if catch them after a 50 foot fall or something. If you lived in an appartment, you’d lose your security deposit because someone would eventually blow up your lair. Where would you keep your wallet?
