Rodney King — whose infamous police brutality case sparked the 1992 L.A. riots — has talked to Celebrity Justice to reveal his next career move: hip hop star.

will there be a greatest hits album in his future?

who’s laying down the beats on this album?

go, rodney!

Apparently King is now rapping about his hard knocks. He says he’s serious about making his mark on the world of rap and that he’s got a CD in the works.

King also hopes to collaborate with such A-list hip-hoppers as Snoop Dogg and Mary J. Blige.

King says it was his court-ordered drub rehab counselor who convinced him to dive head-first into the rap game. He also says wherever he goes, police show their support.

‘I had one cop tell me, `Hey man, don’t worry ’bout nothin,’ I got your back, Rod, I got your back. No matter what.’ ”
