y’all have the friendliest separation I have ever seen
— j’s mom
our house is listed, yay! We’ll put up the signs shortly, j picked them up on friday and came back into town with them today. I tightened up the yard, and totally cleaned out the garage, eradicating junk dust, dirt, cobwebs and spiders that mistook my negligence for kindness.
j’s getting: master bedroom, the loft furniture (minus my computer cabinet)
entertainment center, dining room, futon, and the pictures in those rooms and 3 tvs, a guest bedroom and of course, the two cats.
s gets: all the basement stuff (stationary bike, pool table, sofa, coffee and end tables, poppasan and the contents of the entertainment center), the living room, the other guest bedroom, the other 3 tvs.
j has just informed me that she wants the dance pad, which would require her to buy an xbox to use it. which she doesn’t mind since she needs a DVD player.
talk about irony of ironies.
on our own, we both thought of hosting a final party when an offer’s made on the house. we’re toying the titles like “New Beginnings”, “Emancipation” and “Separation Anxiety” (mine). if you’re our inner circle, look for an evite.
i’m kinda going to miss these cats, though.
Are you serious? You are actually having a “i’m finally rid of this MF party? Friendliest separation…is all this friendliness genuine? I mean, for real. Are you two REALLY all that damn friendly and happy about this? Or is it well…semipseudofriendliness. It just seems to OTHERWORLDLY. A party?
