i upgraded my phone but i hate it. i’m taking this back and going back to my monophonic non-color phone.
the new one looks cooler but why do you get rid of a feature that was standard in the less advanced version, most notably the ability to assign ringtones to each contact? and maybe i’m getting old, but shouldn’t a phone sound like a phone? i’m looking at the phone like what’s that spontaneous music? and the keys are all smooth and indistinguishable to the touch.
speaking of touch, the Cingular store has a self-service touch screen kiosk with braille at the bottom. but how would a blind person use a touch screek kiosk??
update –
I got my old phone back. the straw that broke the camel’s back was me talking on the way home and it sounded like I was eavesdropping on a conversation in the other room with a glass up to the wall. and i remember a diagram in the user manual that said don’t put your finger over the back of the phone on the top, where the antenna is. Grrr! That’s how I hold the phone!
