This weekend was my inlaws’ Ellen and Herb’s anniversary in VA. My father-in-law was the emcee and my mother-in-law said a few words (both were funny. intentionally or otherwise). 25 years! we’re still working on the 2…The food was good as were the refreshments. Me and J felt like we were fence straddlers. Not the old folks and not the youngsters at the table in the corner. Were they laughing at us dance like we were the old heads as they did the electric slide? You notice when people are engaged in a synchronized activity they get a serious studious look on their face like they are really doing something? that goes double for the folks line dancing on CMT.
We went to Potomac Mills beforehand. I saved $30 on a Fossil watch I almost bought onlinke last week. At IKEA I got one of those Artists mannequins. I always wanted one of those things…at left he’s doing his JC Penny pose.
We decided to drive back from Manassas taking I-29 instead of I-95 to 40. On paper it looked like a good idea, but I don’t think we bought any time. It was a loooong scenic drive through the country. central VA is out there…
