During church orientation at the end they were discussing with us about the different ministries and things you could do. A lot of these were ill suited to me I thought, especially singing and anything else that required standing up in front of a lot of people.

And then someone brought up the newly formed Male Step Ministry, and the lady turned all her attention to me and said while nodding on each word, “IF ANYONE WITH EXPERIENCE CAN PROVIDE ASSISTANCE WITH THAT MINISTRY WE WILL APPRECIATE IT”. I was like “is she talking to me?” I don’t know this lady! I actually had to look over my shoulder even though I didn’t think anyone was behind me. But she obviously knows I’m in a fraternity. My cloak of anonimity has failed me. I will have to take this one back. Those darn Alpha tags! 🙁

Stepping was something I “experimented with” in college. I will be happy to dig up some VHS Tapes but I was 4 or 5 years older than my peers then and had to break out the BEN GAY after step practice. and i don’t know if it’s coincidence or direct result, but we never won when i stepped. There are Brothers and there are Stepping Brothers. I fall over in the former territory.

Me teaching someone how to step would be like me teaching someone how to play the sax. It was something i did once at a period in my life a long long time ago and have little to no memory of.

There, i’ve made my case. Therefore I think it best that i devote my time fully to the Web Ministry.
