I never could get my mower started, it’s 50/50 between user error and mechanical failure, so i borrowed my coworker j/lo’s and he helped me take mine to the John Deere service place.

My lawn at this point is officially unkempt so it’s imperative that it be mowed before sundownw Tuesday. once i get some clear bags to gather clippings from j/lo’s mower bag attachment I’m ready to start.

to my horror i can’t get this thing to start and i’m repeating right armed cable row reps for the neighborhood like the previous day. my back muscles on the right side are starting to get ripped and glowing red like in the commercials. The village idiot does gardening.

i finally get it started and put the mower to the test cutting the tall blades, knowing that’s something that’s advised against. but I have no choice at this point. frequently tipping the mower upward so that it doesn’t cut off from the strain. which it does. more right arm cable row reps. I hate i have to start over on a new yard.

the front looks realy jacked up now that i have an unobstructive view of the dry cracked clay. my back yard is a minor wetlands area where the drainage seems to settle.

one of my neighbors who waves when she sees me stopped by when i was trying to beat dusk to the punch. She’s giving State Farm a run for it’s money as the proverbial good neighbor. she cool people.

I finally declare completion, my hands producing in a chlorophyll green lather. spring is back.
