We almost ran out of gas again coming back from Charlotte on Highway 52 with the inlawssomewhere near Midway and Welcome, NC.
feeling like midway to nowhere and most unwelcome.
-pop-in-law commenting on my needle sitting next to “E” in the Amen corner.

-then then light came on.
luckily we make to the same service station in Welcome as last time…gas is cheap in the middle of nowhere.

note to self: never travel down highway 52 and back w/ less than a quarter tank.
