I forgot to blog that I saw Angela Davis at UNCG (in observance of the King Holiday) on Tuesday night.
I was trying to be all cool and blog live from my phone, but that was a trying experience and I was missing the message while trying to wait for the pages to load and type. so I gave up on that.
Like when I saw Tavis at that venue, the message was mostly about Katrina, Bush, and the state of racism and was on point. Between my distance and the lighting I thought she looked pretty darn good for her age, and I was trying to do the math.
Afterwards I’d wished I’d kept my program for Tavis so that I could maybe keep some type of scrapbook of speakers, but then this lady rolled up on me and begged me for my Angela Davis program, saying she needed it for credit in a class. so, pun intended, i scrapped that idea.
If Angela looks goods for her age, it proves once again, that…Black don’t crack.
What was she speakin’ on?
Whoops, skip the last question. Re-reading the
second paragraph, what she was speaking on became clear.
