getting laid off makes you really warm. you’re trying to pack and everyone’s trying to hug you and your throat’s (getting dry from being warm) and people are looking at you like you’re walking the green mile and everyone’s offering assistance they can’t give.

no there were quite a few of us, I was surprised at the amount. it was interesting to note among the group of developers, analysts, testers and others who were called into that meeting to get the boot, there were no white males, what are the (statistical) odds?
