While they were out and I was at Lowe’s, a lightbulb went off. Z’s room is hot as hell in the summer and needed a ceiling fan but the light fixture is so close to the attic ladder trapdoor, I thought it would be impossible. found a 4 blade model for $24 that lets the door come down if you align the blades right. I wanted it to be done before they got back and just have her flip the switch and see how long it would take her to notice. (about 15 seconds)
It was a fast install, but it makes a slight grinding noise. Womp. Not taking it apart to take it back.
I also got PVC for my 2nd attempt at making a DIY camera stabilizer. cheaper and less moving parts this go round.
