Coming home from homecoming

Back. Tired. Me, Bone and Cee played a round of 14 holes…my first time on the green. I was terrible on the front nine, but I settled into a groove back on the last few, then we jetted, as the Homecoming game was already underway. I am amazed at the density and vigor of bermuda grass. I’m just afraid to put it down because it’s an impossible infestation to get up. Today was hot, not including the Fayetteville factor. Got to campus in time to see the postgame crowd leaving. Anticlimactic. I got a box of 12 balls from the inlaws, which really came in handy, replacing the ones I lost today. I drove home. Nothing like waking up in your own bed. I was dumb for doing that…1/2 of the 2 hour drive I was more asleep than awake. but i live to blog again.
