once again the rites of spring are upon us. the lily bulbs we planted and forgot about have emerged and I’ve been tending to the lawn. I had to replace both sprinkler timers, knowing now to shut the pipes off at the faucet instead of relying on the timer valve. I put down limestone last week before the big rain and fertilizer stakes for the pear trees. there is something about all that green that relaxes me. I also bought a birdfeeder and see Cardinals, Bluejays and Robins nearby, rarely seeing them on the feeder, but the seed level has been going down.
Precious doesn’t know how good she has it…always acting like she’s in jail or something.
